About The Author

Ron Hinnenkamp, a native of Melrose, Minnesota, attended a rural one room schoolhouse for eight years. After graduating from Melrose High School, he earned Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from St. Cloud State University.  Nearing the end of his 33 years of teaching in Little Falls, he earned his Securities license and has worked as an investment representative in recent years. While teaching, he served ten years as Mayor of Little Falls, Minnesota.  An Army Infantry veteran during Viet Nam, Ron is a life member of the VFW.  

He wrote his first book, The 8th Grave in 2016, and second book in the Kolovich and Haley series, Sniper Echo, was published in 2018.  Book three is still in the planning stages. 

Ron’s philosophy of writing is to allow the reader to create the scenarios in their minds, rather than trying to describe every situation is lengthy detail.  Reading should be an adventure for the mind.

Ron and his wife, Connie Thorsland, reside in Little Falls.
